Clinical Research Malaysia (CRM) is not for profit and wholly owned by the Government of Malaysia. It was established in June 2012 to facilitate and enable industry sponsored research in Malaysia.
Clinical Research Malaysia was initially a part of the Ministry of Health’s Clinical Research Centre (CRC), as its One-Stop Centre, the unit responsible for industry sponsored research. In 2010, the Government adopted clinical research as one of its National Key Economic Area (Healthcare EPP2) and in June 2012, CRM was corporatised.
